Took me a little while to get the thing moving in a way that im relatively pleased with. My first walk was done from the side view and was only two legs, based on a dog walk cycle(see earlier post for test) The front legs moved fine but i didnt like the way the back legs moved. The way the back legs were modelled they were facing in the opposite direction to the front legs so they would have to be pushing away from the body instead of pulling with the front legs. Heres what i came up with.
I need feedback on these cause i dont really have any ideas on where to go from here.

wow i really love how blogspot did NOT just publish my comment and now I must write it ALL over again *sigh*
Anywhooooo...
Similar results you and I are getting here though i see your extending the forearms of the spider at the front...I cant really tell but are you at the back as well?
Also, our speeds of movement are different. We gonna decide that there can be varying speeds or settle on one?
Finally I have just noticed on my model the arms pulling slightly on the model...i shall now have to go back and tweak again see if its just too much movement etc
Overall very nice though, good slick movement.
P.S your caricature is slowly morphing into Count Olaf with those eyebrows! haha
The legs pulling on the model is something i've noticed as well, its a quick fix using painting weights though(and wont effect ure animation). I'm extending all of my legs(k that sounds weird) trying to exagerate it a bit. And no matter how caricatured i draw myself i can't hold a flame to Count Olaf's eyebrows.
think it looks sweet matt :D
