S.O.S

Hit a minor (major) snag.

RUBBLE

Dynamics in Maya just isn't working, im using less than 20 bricks and the computer cant manage the processing power. Only solution i can think up is to do all the rubble manually which sounds like a ridiculous amount of work.

Any Ideas???

Here's the website I found with a tutorial on how to randomly spread objects in Maya:

http://en.9jcg.com/comm_pages/blog_content-art-113.htm

It uses mel scripting, so im not too sure how that will work out. If i have time tomorrow ill properly look at this...

In the end we may just have to create lots of rubble, hopefully we wont have to

Another option might be to try rendering it on the render farm, more CPUs might help?

I would like you to email me when you read this comment. I want some evidence of how regularly all of you are actually using your journals to communicate with each other... If I don't receive emails from all of you I will be talking about this when we meet on Wednesday 19th Nov.
